Allie Reeves
Allie Reeves is a local entrepreneur, wife and mom who has lived in Mt. Juliet since 2015.
A year after moving to MJ, she began her first of two companies, Bustle & Buzz, where she managed social media marketing for small businesses. After coming to terms with the fact she was burnt out and feeling unfulfilled with the work she was doing, Allie made, what she considers, one of the best decisions she’s ever made: the choice to pivot her business from managing social media to teaching others how to do it themselves. And, by ‘others’, she now works solely with women.
In the months leading up to that shift, Allie noticed a gap in the marketplace for transparent, thorough mentorship on how to use social media in a positive and profitable way.
Now, three years after taking the leap to build a business she’s truly passionate about, Allie has mentored thousands of women around the world through social media content, online trainings and her ‘6 Figure Influencer’ podcast on how to grow their influence and income online.

Gabby Sheppard / Lillian Beretta
When Lillian Beretta started her one-woman painting business in 2002 she never imagined the incredible way it would evolve and open doors for her family. She grew the way many small businesses do; through blood, sweat, tears and saying “yes”, then figuring it out. Over the course of a few short years she expanded her services to offer decorative painting, cabinet refinishing and custom window treatments and transformed some of the most prominent homes in her area alongside a full time crew. When Lillian’s daughter, Gabrielle Shepherd, came on board they expanded their offerings to include both home and event styling and birthed their company, Design Muse.
“While we style a handful of large events every year, the majority of what we do is in people’s homes.” Gabrielle says, “It’s such a privilege to be invited into a family’s space to help them make it a place they love to be. The truth is, how you feel about your home and in your home matters so much. Your house provides the backdrop for day to day life, special occasions, and so much more but decorating can be an overwhelming project. Our team enjoys and appreciates the opportunity to bring something so special to life.” Design Muse is based in Mt. Juliet and specializes in unique ideas, creative problem solving and produces gorgeous results. They offer a wide variety of services including room layouts, furniture and accessories selection, carpentry projects, and much more.

Ashlee Vallett and Kara Edwards
Ashlee and Kara are the co-owners of L.O.F.T. Photography Studio. L.O.F.T. (Leaning On Faith Together) was born out of a desire and drive to form a community that supports creative artists. It was built on the hope that others would desire to grow and build a collaborative community. After 3 years of working together Kara and Ashlee discovered that togetherness is imperative in an artistic community, thus fostering a business model that would shine light on community over competition and a location allowing photographers the opportunity to grow and create without bearing the financial burden of their own studio. Kara said meeting Ashlee was like finding a kindred spirit. Someone who truly wants to encourage and support the community around her in all that she does. L.O.F.T Photography Studios is just an extension of that bond and spirit for them.
Kristen Bloom
Kristen Bloom is a mother, wife, and owner of Bloom Bash, who relocated to Mt. Juliet from Maine in 2018. She graduated from Western New England University with a B.S. in Management and has since held careers in sales and customer service, as well as higher education in both admissions and advising. While she enjoys working with students, Kristen knew she needed a creative outlet. June of 2020 brought on new challenges due to Covid. One of which was planning her son's 1st birthday. Always having decorated and planned family parties, party options were limited due to Covid. However, this allowed Kristen to put her creative side to work and birth Bloom Bash during the summer of 2020 when Kristen began creating balloon backdrops for parties across all of Middle Tennessee.
Kristen loves being able to take something ordinary and transform it into something eye-catching. Her favorite part of the job is that it doesn’t feel like a job at all. To Kristen, the best part of her job is being able to create the perfect backdrop to any event, and getting to know members of her community.
