Nebraska Born, Locally Driven

ALLO Fiber connects Nebraska communities through honesty, service, and hometown values

When ALLO Fiber arrived in Sarpy County, it brought more than high-speed connectivity. The Nebraska-born company brought its local, Midwestern mindset to provide service to its communities through its values: honest, exceptional, local, and hassle-free.

“How do we serve and give back to our communities?” asks Dave Miller, ALLO General Manager of Eastern Nebraska. “The four core values.”

Founded in Imperial, Nebraska, in 2003 by President and CEO Brad Moline, ALLO Fiber was created with the intention of doing business differently—rooted in transparency, fairness, and a true desire to serve. Moline, originally from Imperial, set out to build a company with world-class technology that still upheld Nebraska’s small-town principles. Those values continue to guide the company today as it expands across four states, with Nebraska remaining its most densely served region.

Honesty, Miller explains, begins with how ALLO approaches pricing. “We don’t offer lowball teaser rates just to lure people in,” he says. “Our pricing is transparent and upfront. You’ll see the price, any applicable fees, and taxes included.”

That straightforward approach also ties directly into the value of being exceptional—providing service as personal as it is reliable. “We are such a customer-centric organization. If you call us, we will pick up and talk to you,” Miller says.

Business Account Executive Brian Chandler echoes this. “Our call centers are in Nebraska, which is something that our customers love,” he says. “A lot of companies out there try to push you to a web portal or something if you have questions or issues. ALLO likes receiving phone calls—that’s why we have a call center. It allows customers to feel like they’re being taken care of.” 

When it comes to being local, ALLO goes well beyond Nebraska roots and local office walls. Through initiatives like ALLO for Education, ALLO gave every new residential customer the opportunity to select a school of their choice to receive a $50 donation from ALLO when they signed up for services in November and December of 2024. In Papillion, the local donation total reached $8,750 spread across multiple schools in the district.  

ALLO also supports nonprofits through its Community Connect program, providing free one-gig internet for three years to organizations making a difference. “We’re going to support those in the community doing the hard work and making a difference,” Miller says.

ALLO’s commitment to service also extends to those who have served in the Armed Forces. As of 2025, roughly 10% of ALLO’s workforce, around 160 employees, are veterans. The company has received the 2024 HIRE Vets Gold Medallion and a five-star rating from Vet Indexes for its efforts in veteran hiring and retention.

For Miller, the final core value is all about mindset and service. “Hassle-free,” he says, “essentially means the golden rule. Make it easy to do business.”

Following this mindset, ALLO recently added DIRECTV streaming and mobile phone service to its offerings, giving them the ability to provide an easy, single point of contact for customers’ technology needs. According to Chandler, hassle-free service is simple, “It’s about convenience and trust.”

With deep Nebraska roots and a clear purpose, ALLO Fiber continues to show what it means to serve—by connecting people, supporting local causes, and keeping its promises to the communities it calls home.

Smart Schools, Smart Towns

ALLO Fiber’s Smart School initiative ensures that every student can access reliable internet for homework and learning. In participating communities, any school-issued tech device, such as a Chromebook or tablet, can automatically connect to an ALLO router within range to help bridge the digital divide for families who can’t afford home internet.

“This is coming to every ALLO community,” says Dave Miller. “If my device can see an ALLO router, it’s going to get connected and stay connected.”

Building on that success, the Smart Town program extends seamless connectivity across the city, allowing ALLO customers’ mobile devices to stay online wherever they go.
