When he was young, Brannon Howle witnessed the incredible care his mom and dad gave to his grandmother, and he soon realized just how valuable family and compassionate people were. Later inspired by the nurses in his life, his mom, sister, and wife, Brannon decided to shift his career and focus on caring for the elderly, opening ameriCARE in Richmond. “There is a growing need in our community to help an aging population, and I have always wanted to play a role in helping others and building a strong community,” Brannon explains. “This organization allows me the opportunity to offer compassion to those in need and enable a growing staff that is committed to helping others in a trusting and loving way.” With his mom Patty Howle beside him as the Administrator and Care Director, the mother-son duo is on a mission to deliver exceptional care to those in need to help make a positive impact on the community.
Patty loves to talk to people and make them smile. Couple that with twenty-six years of nursing, and she's the perfect person to ensure the best quality of care with a personalized and positive experience at ameriCARE. After her hospital tenure, Patty volunteered at Crossover Ministries, a charity that supports the healthcare needs of those who cannot afford it. "This experience provided valuable lessons to me in service and compassion as I worked alongside many talented physicians and others to better the community of Richmond and provide for the less fortunate," Patty says. Today, she applies her nursing knowledge and experience to her role at ameriCARE and loves to make a difference in people's lives.
Brannon and Patty work hard to learn as much as possible about their clients. They meet with families to discuss their needs, schedules, and hobbies, using this information to match their clients with the best caregiver.
