An Italian favorite, the Aperol Spritz originated in the city of Padua. Mimicking an Italian sunset, the bright orange cocktail gained popularity in 1950s in Northern Italy. And it's become a go-to libation here in America in recent years. Perhaps the most endearing quality of the Aperol Spritz is its simplicity. Made with only a few ingredients, including the light, herbaceous and citrusy Aperol liquor, it's the quintessential spring cocktail.
