Few things are more magical than The Broadmoor in its resplendent holiday finery.
For many residents of Colorado Springs, it’s the ultimate annual visit to ramp up holiday cheer by enjoying a few hours at dinner or an event in an enchanting setting — leaving them longing for more. Rather than spending countless hours and energy shopping for stuff your family won’t remember a few months from now, why not give them a staycation with a holiday experience at The Broadmoor?
Starting in November, hundreds of employees work together to transform The Broadmoor into a captivating world of holiday splendor where you are greeted by millions of sparkling lights and dazzled by ornament-laden Christmas trees, stunning décor and plenty of holiday cheer.
From its annual White Lights Ceremony to the famed over-the-top gingerbread displays, there’s an endless array of family-friendly holiday events and programming for overnight resort guests, including gingerbread decorating classes for kids, special holiday dining menus, a Wassail Tea service, culinary and beverage demonstrations, Breakfasts with Santa, the Classic Holiday Show, New Year’s Eve festivities, and the resort’s 12 Days of Christmas events from December 20 through January 1.
Some of our favorites:
The Broadmoor Holiday Show (December 15, 16, 22, 23 and 24)
Back by popular demand, singer Debby Boone headlines this cherished holiday tradition in a variety of show formats.
Twelve Days of Christmas (December 20–January 1)
Daily events, pickleball, and classes such as “The Bs and Qs of Etiquette” and waltz lessons are just the beginning.
New Year’s Eve Gala (December 31)
Traditional black-tie-optional dinner and gala featuring a five-course meal and music by Ken Miller and the Broadmoor Pops, joined by Broadway star Marcus Lovett and singer Julie Bradley.
New Year’s Eve Bash (December 31)
This more casual event features dance music by a DJ, a cash bar and a champagne toast at midnight.
We can’t think of a better way to wrap up 2023 with family or friends than with the experience of a lifetime at The Broadmoor. It’s so much more than a hotel. It’s a legend down the street.

The Broadmoor’s famed gingerbread houses are awesome feats of teamwork, creativity and painstaking detail. The life-sized 2022 gingerbread display paid homage to The Broadmoor’s founder Spencer Penrose and his 1937 Flat Head V-8 Cadillac Touring Car.
