“It all started when I overheard a coach suggest to my granddaughter during an archery lesson that she shouldn’t bother dreaming as big as the Olympics." -Karin Bock
To Karin Bock, no dream is too big for anyone–a characteristic belief reflective of many years as a coach and mentor for other sports. Archery may have been new to Bock, but fueled by the belief that every dream was attainable, she immersed herself in the sport by taking classes and seminars, mastering archery to the highest level she could. She envisioned establishing a place where people could excel to whatever level they aspired to.
Humble Beginnings
That vision came to life when Bock opened Archery School of the Rockies. From humble beginnings with only a few students who wanted to learn more about the sport, it has organically evolved into the thriving school and archery range it is today.
Available to all ages and levels, archery is for everyone here.
“That’s the beauty of archery, it’s so inclusive. It levels the playing field because anyone can do it, and everyone is always welcome, encouraged, and empowered to be able to experience one of the world’s oldest sports,” Bock explains.
All Skill Levels
Since archery is available to a wide range of abilities, the school offers lessons for any skill level, from beginners to Olympians, also offering programs for the sight-impaired and disabled. The passionate staff and coaches are hands-on and provide every tool available to achieve your goals.
At their indoor archery range, you can experience archery camps, archery tournaments, classes, and lessons, and even date nights.
Volunteer-Based
Archery School of the Rockies is a volunteer-based organization. They believe it’s imperative to give back to the community that’s given so much to them.
“We truly value being a community, giving back to the community, and we’ve grown like we have thanks to the community,” Bock explains.

“We want to empower whoever walks in through that door," she said. "We want them to know anything is possible, and we want them to feel like they’re at home here. This is a family business with familial values, and everyone who spends time here sooner or later becomes family.”
