Arizona Broadway Theatre and TheaterWorks Announce 2023/24 Season

JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (September – October)

Follow favored son Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors in this over-the-top, Bible-inspired (Book of Genesis) musical comedy with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. 

WHITE CHRISTMAS (November – December)

The classic Christmas story features spirited songs from Irving Berlin. White Christmas sparkles with holiday cheer, dancing and laughter.

ON THE TOWN (January – February)

Travel back to New York City in 1944  to experience this exhilarating musical comedy with iconic scenes and an unforgettable score by Leonard Bernstein for the new year.

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (March – April)

Satisfy your sweet tooth, as ABT premieres the imaginative world of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s novel and tours Willy Wonka’s over-the-top chocolate factory. 

A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER (May – June)

This murderous romp is filled with unforgettable music, non-stop laughs and a scene-stealing role for one actor playing all eight of the doomed heirs who meet their ends in the most creative and side-splitting ways.

DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID (June  – July )

Journey into a kingdom under the sea and meet Ariel, a young mermaid who longs to leave her ocean home to experience life in the human world. 

CLUE: THE MUSICAL (August – September)

Audiences will play an active role and help solve the murder with the detective. With over 200 possible endings, everyone’s a suspect.

Theater Works (TheaterWorks.org) announces a new season of Mainstage and Youth Works productions. Season packages are on sale now. Single performance tickets go on sale June 1.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! (FEBRUARY 2-18, 2024)

Not content to let William Shakespeare get all the attention, the conniving but clueless Bottom brothers hatch a plan to cook up the next big stage hit.

SONDHEIM TRIBUTE REVUE (MARCH 29-APRIL 14, 2024)

Highlights the great Stephen Sondheim who is widely acknowledged as the most innovative, influential and important composer and lyricist in modern Broadway history.

FINDING NEMO JR. (AUGUST 1-8, MCMILLIN THEATER)

This new musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo.

FROZEN JR. (APRIL 15-MAY 3, GYDER THEATER)
