Alien Vacation Mini Golf, Northeast Ohio's premier 3D mini golf experience, is conveniently located right beside Castle Noel, the Christmas attraction that opened in November 2013. Alien Vacation opened just a few months later in April 2013 and is owned by Dana and Mark Klaus. It offers an indoor 3D virtual experience, complete with 19 holes, an aquarium and a snack bar that serves beer and wine.
Voted the “Best Mini Golf in OH” by MSN, the business hosts team-building events and more and includes handicap accommodations.
Alien Vacation is located at 260 S. Court St. It is open Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 8 p.m., Friday from noon until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The cost to play is $11 per person for those age 4 and up, with children ages 3 and under free.

2. All Fired Up!
In the studio, one creates art to last a lifetime.
Amanda Cook Hudak, the owner and manager of All Fired Up!, opened her shop in October 1999. All Fired Up! is an immersive art and pottery studio that gives people of all ages the opportunity to express themselves in a creative and care-free outlet.
With a degree in art therapy, Amanda’s love for throwing pottery expanded into wanting to help others find the joy and fulfillment that art ultimately brought her.
“Not only are you making a memory and having fun when you come in here, but you have that keepsake afterward,” Amanda says.
The establishment hosts a variety of hands-on activities, including art camps and more. All materials are provided, and custom orders are available.
Regarding adult parties, there are numerous ways one can receive a discount, depending on how many people participate. Prices range from $6 to $60, depending on what one is interested in. Walk-ins and reservations are available as well.

3. Something’s Popping
Popcorn: not only is it extremely versatile, but one can truly embrace their “kid in a candy store” persona enjoying it.
Lorene Hocevar, the owner of Something’s Popping, a popcorn shop with an array of innovative flavors, opened in Medina in November 2014. The facility also hosts a variety of events and has a wide selection of candy, chocolates and gift-wrapping baskets available.
The Hocevar family loves to indulge in the buttery movie theater snack daily; from there, Lorene became inspired to open her own establishment.
Giving back to the city is something Lorene is passionate about. From helping schools and more, she loves to see how happy her popcorn makes not only customers but community members as well.
Some of the most popular flavors include dill pickle and hot wing.
Prices range from $2 to $55, depending on what one is interested in. Custom orders are available as well, with requests placed in advance.
