Owner Lee Sellers’ father served in the Air Force, so he spent time overseas growing up.
“I just kind of liked everything that was outside,” Sellers said.
Landscaping was a natural fit, but it’s been a progression. Years ago, homes were more affordable, leaving more money available for landscaping. Clients bought a home, then often did their landscaping all at once. These days, clients frequently tackle their outdoor living projects one at a time, Sellers said. For his clients who prefer to build in stages, he suggests starting with hardscapes, gas lines and other projects that won’t put up roadblocks for future projects.
“You can always put in trees and bushes later,” he said. “Get the hard stuff done.”

“My favorite projects are when the yards are kind of multi-level,” he said. “It looks like a big, hilly mess. … How do we build them a backyard? That’s the fun part!”
