Gifts, workshops, artists' receptions and original art parties can be experienced at Stone Soup Galleries, a coalition of regional artists at Mall 2004, Chesterfield Center near "the Cheesecake entrance." Owned by jewelry artist and gallery director Cory Lawson, the store reflects sculptors, art jewelers, painters, ceramicists, photographers as well as glass and gourd artists. She says it's a diverse assembly of fine contemporary 2-D and 3-D artworks for corporate, residential and wearable art needs. Additionally, they accept jewelry repair requests. The gallery's staff can ship items, and gift certificates also are available.
"We feature exceptional local and regional artists whose works appear in collections around the world. When visiting, you'll be greeted by some of the most down-to-earth, hard-working and friendly artists," Cory says.
Enrollment is underway for an oil painting class to be taught by Morris Fletcher March 22 through April 26 at the studio.
