Innovation and Creation at ART 2 art Gallery

Supportive artist community reveals interactive dining table art experiences

The holidays are the time to surround yourself with warmth and support from those you love. Art can be an embodiment of that feeling. And many of the pieces at ART 2 art Gallery can help evoke those emotions, spark inspiration, and encourage conversation.

Located in Tivoli Village, ART 2 art Gallery has an ever-changing display of paintings, sculptures, and photography. Innovation is a key factor here, where artists create pieces with different layers of textures and purpose. With a constant influx of new artists, the gallery offers the community something fresh, giving guests something thought-provoking as they exit the doors. If something really catches your eye, ART 2 art CEO Heiko Katins and his crew will help you take it home to enjoy in your own house.

Heiko is committed to working and helping each artist put their best work forward. He allows the artists the freedom to create what they are most passionate about but still gives them pointers on what will get their art on the gallery walls. If Heiko notices that people are purchasing a particular style of painting, he’ll recommend pointers for the artist to create their own take on it in their own work.

“We try to educate artists on how to sell their work,” Heiko began, “we know the customers. We know what spaces they have and what colors they like, so sometimes the artists need to adapt.”

Also, a custom piece can be commissioned if a guest likes an artist's style but might not particularly like one that is already displayed. Art is a form of self-expression, but the gallery is still a business, and making sure that the community wants to invest in art collecting is important at ART 2 art.

ART 2 art also provides framing and printing services. The frames are intricately crafted and designed to complement any purchased art piece. From gold to sterling silver or neon to earth tones, frames are an essential piece in enhancing the experience you get from appreciating art. Not only can frames do this, but so can the textures and materials used.

The art gallery is abundant with new and innovative ideas. “Art of Culinary” is an interactive dining experience that transports guests into the world through eating. While sitting at a seemingly normal table, participants casually eat until the table is activated. A show or interactive imagery immerses the guests into the art, allowing for a more engaging and exciting dining experience. Using translucent plates, each bite unveils the vivid display the table is presenting.

Artist Peter W. Hart is currently being featured at ART 2 art alongside other artists. Peter’s art is unique, as he includes different textures and materials in his pieces. His collection, “Rags to Riches,” is dedicated to and inspired by his loved ones, so he incorporated rags and t-shirts into the golds and reds of some pieces to commemorate his parents. Peter’s wife is from Italy and loves to cook, so he used a variety of different pastas to represent her and her love for the culinary world. This collection is perfect for a Thanksgiving gift or a discussion piece over the celebratory feast, as it represents all there is to be thankful for – values, love, and cherishing the small yet momentous experiences in life.
