Supporting each other in and out of the gym, Reza and Alexis Anvarian are building a life for their family centered on fitness and wellness. They offer strength and support not only to their clients of their personal training business but also to their three young children, Kyren (7), Kain (5) and Kaymen (3).
Reza owns and coaches boxing at Sanctum Fight Club in Prosper as well as coaches his kids' sport teams. At his boxing gym he trains heavyweight champions as he himself has been boxing since he was 6 years old. With his history in the Navy, he has a passion for helping others with military enlistment. He is a strong family man and proudly boasts of coaching Kyren's 1st grade undefeated flag-football team to becoming Super Bowl Champions.
When asking the Anvarians what role fitness plays in their lives, they answer in unison, "It's who we are." Alexis tells of how she found out she was pregnant with her first-born while competing with Reza in an Ironman triathlon. She continued to stay fit and work out focusing on sound nutrition and healthy habits during all 3 of her pregnancies. She says fitness is her "emotional support system". Alexis is a very successful youth fitness specialist and personal trainer.
Tucked away in a Celina neighborhood, their home gym hosts friends and clients of all ages and levels of fitness. They offer accountability and support in a comfortable, well-equipped environment. Behind their home, they have built an obstacle course for their children. All five Anvarians make it a priority to stay active daily.
Their newest venture is the opening of a South Paws Grill in Prosper. It is a cafe creating smoothies, sandwiches and salads with sustainable, organic ingredients. The cafe will open in Spring of 2022.

ALEXIS & REZA'S TIPS FOR
creating a home gym & workout routine
You Don't Need a Ton of Equipment to Get Started
Purchasing stall mats at the local Tractor Supply work well for gym flooring. A good set of dumbbells are essential as well as at least one cardio machine (treadmill, stationary bicycle, etc). A pull-up bar, a plyometric box and a smartwatch for a timer can complete your home gym.
Set Attainable Goals
Set goals but don't obsess about it. Do cardio and set a goal to work up to a sub 10-minute mile. Aim to bench press/ deadlift half of your body weight. Eat clean 4 to 5 days a week. Start small and keep working to achieve these goals.
Consistency is Key
Be consistent. Set an alarm and wake up at the same time every day. This helps you get going on the days you workout. Keep active 3-5 days a week for 30-45 minutes.
Accountability & Support
Get active with a friend, spouse or neighbor to help keep each other motivated. Reach out to Alexis at 405.824.0031 for personal training, group fitness and youth fitness options at their home gym in Celina.
