Beautiful and Smart

Spirit-free cocktails

“It's simply all about using fresh ingredients: fresh fruit, fresh herbs, fresh taste,” says bartender Effie Skiouris at Alpharetta City Center’s Never Enough Thyme. She says to add a San Pellegrino for sparkle and choose a flavor to compliment the juice, topping off the glass with a slice of the fresh fruit and voila!  You will have a cocktail that’s lovely and light, just right for a healthy new year. Often, bartenders have a mocktail up their sleeve, using house-made simple syrups and sodas. Suggest a taste profile (citrus, ginger, fruit, bitter) and let your bartender take it from there. Make it a mocktail and join the crowd!
