Where To Get Your Caffeine Kick Around Town

Few things hit better than a steaming cup of something caffeinated when the weather cools down. One benefit of living in a town like Bellevue is that it’s likely still nice enough to enjoy your java in a cozy corner, on a pretty patio, or grab it to-go for an outdoor adventure. Luckily, we have a collection of coffee shops that make any of the above possible.

We’ll see you around these coffee shops this fall.

City Limits Cafe & Bakery

A Bellevue original, City Limits opened in 2002 and has been keeping locals and Highway 70 passersby fueled up with coffee and conversation ever since. I’ve enjoyed many a post-church croissant here while watching old friends catch up and neighbors bump into one another.

While you can certainly enjoy a warm beverage and a breakfast pastry, don’t skip coming for lunch: Southern salads, pressed sandwiches, and breakfast staples round out the menu. CityLimitsBakeryCafe.com

Cafe Sperry’s

You may think of Sperry’s for its salad bar, premium steaks, and tableside bananas foster, but the brand has expanded in recent years to include multiple mercantiles and a cozy coffee shop. Cafe Sperry’s has that same family-friendly, treat yourself feel as it’s sister spots, with plush seating, intentional decor, and a drive-thru window if you’re on the go.

This fall, the cafe is rolling out a seasonal menu that includes pumpkin pie, s’mores, and carrot cake lattes, pumpkin chai, and blueberry pancake coffee. But the one I’m looking forward to most? An iced matcha latte flavored in honor of that famed bananas foster. This one doesn’t come on fire, though. Order.toasttab.com/online/sperrys-mercantile-bellevue-7745-highway-70-south

Surefire Coffee

If you’re looking for joe on the go, Surefire Coffee is a charming roadside coffee stand serving up tasty lattes, matcha, and some pastries if you’re hungry. With fun flavors like the Sunkissed Latte with coconut, brown sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon; or a hot blueberry donut latte that tastes like a glazed berry in the best way, there are plenty of reasons to go again and again. The Airstream is located off of Highway 100 near Kroger. SurefireCoffee.com

The Well

If you’re looking for a classic coffee option where you can get a good matcha latte or a trusty drip coffee, The Well anchors One Bellevue Place and is a great option for consistent caffeine. This has become a local phenomenon, with five locations in and around Middle Tennessee and one in Indiana. So next time you’re heading out to do your grocery shopping or catch a movie, swing by before or after to keep you fueled. WellCoffeeRoasters.com
