Blossoming Business was born in 2023 to celebrate local business owners and a newfound community of city transplants committed to making Fairfield and Westchester County's entrepreneurial experience richer, sweeter, and more connected. The magic of our community is at the heart of this initiative. The idea for the event was the brainchild of Amanda Mintz, a seasoned recruiter, entrepreneur, and community builder, who envisioned a different kind of networking event to energize, regenerate, and inspire. How do we blossom in community? The name was born.
The 2nd annual Blossoming Business Garden Soirée, on Thursday, June 6th from 5-8pm, is set to be a spectacular affair. This year's theme, “A String that Ties Us Together,” encapsulates the essence of connection, community, and collaboration that defines the event. Held in a stunning garden and poolside oasis at a private residence in New Canaan, CT, the soirée promises to be an unforgettable experience.
This event is a testament to the magic that happens when great minds and talents converge. Presented and hosted by Amanda Mintz of Amanda Mintz Creative, Ella Barnette of Ella Barnette Style, Karlie Reitano of Karlie Reitano PR, Laura Sabia of Greenwich Lifestyle Magazine and Darien New Canaan Lifestyle Magazine, and Sarah True of True Events, this dream team has curated the hottest event to kick off summer. Fashion Show
Curated by stylist Ella Barnette, the fashion show will feature looks from Chou Chou, Everyone Loves The Weekend, Fred, Trumpet Southport, Top Banana, and West 2 Westport. This showcase promises to be a highlight of the evening, offering a glimpse of the brightest CT fashion brands.
Shopping and Experiences
Attendees can explore shopping booths and experiences from Barrett Bookstore, Elite Tennis Travel, Hamptons Jollys, Haute Energy, Jeweled Coquette, Metropolitan Art Advisors, Lemon Stripes, Singular, Serve It Up, and Top Banana.
Specialty Bars and Catering
A special rosé wine bar provided by Craftbottlz, a mocktail bar provided by Séchey, and catering by On The Marc will ensure that guests enjoy the finest hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.

This nonprofit organization is dedicated to equipping residents of New Canaan, CT, and neighboring communities with tools and resources to understand systemic racism, its history, root causes, and the structures that perpetuate it.
