"Mark and I wanted to create property located in a place where people could fully escape, unwind and recharge while having the most unusually amazing experience. We found Hocking Hills, Ohio, to provide this perfect mix of nature, activities and local outdoor amenities," says co-owner Heather Crider, president, The Rockstar Training Group.
Heather's husband and Legend Lodge co-owner, Mark Schulman, is a former touring drummer for world-class artists, such as P!NK, Stevie Nicks, Cher, Foreigner, Billy Idol and Bobby Cadwell. So, Mark even lent a few of his authentic concert memorabilia to the cabin's décor.
The cabin is 1 hour southeast of Columbus, Ohio. Heather states, "The area's been featured on CBS Sunday morning and in publications as one of the Midwest's hidden gems. The state park and nature trails are gorgeous, including a waterfall, caves, a lake and hiking options."
The couple named their property Rockstar Royalty Retreats because they wanted to infuse a destination with a unique, rockstar-theme vibe while enabling guests to experience being immersed in both nature and luxury.
Legend Lodge is designed for couples, solo superstars or duos who deserve VIP treatment. Wake up with coffee on the relaxing, screened-in porch. Soak in a forest-view hot tub, detox in the all-wooden barrel sauna or take the signature guitar walkway to a private dome perfect for stargazing. Heather says some couples at the location create their own love story, complete with novel, photo-worthy moments. Some solo travelers seek clarity, calm or inspiration there. Yet others enjoy stays as bestie getaways or parent-children adventures, with the cabin sleeping up to four.
Inside the cabin is a fully stocked kitchen, custom spa shower/bathroom and modern, penthouse-like touches.
