When you walk into True Bloom Spa, don’t be confused — you’re in the right place, but Boulder’s newest spa isn’t taking cues from dated spa trends of the last few decades. When you walk into True Bloom’s front room, you’re greeted by the large Plant Powered Ingredient Bar, where you’ll see therapists and aestheticians choosing fresh ingredients to be used in services.

For Spa Director Craig Newton, who has been in the industry for over 20 years and has developed multiple Forbes 5-Star spas under his leadership, the staff is what makes the difference for the customer experience.

“All the success I’ve ever had was because of the staff,” Craig says. “I really make it a goal to hire the right people, who are bright and innovative. Then we put the focus on the customer and creating those memorable moments for each visitor."

Newton wants True Bloom to help break down the barriers between a customer and their therapists and aesthetician from the get-go, where you can meet them before your treatment and have the opportunity to chat and ask questions. Small changes make large differences in the True Bloom Spa Experience, such as using a Buddhist Singing Bowl’s light tones to announce the end of the treatment, rather than the jarring whisper in your ear of “I’ll be stepping outside.

True Bloom is dedicated to staying ahead of the curve on trends and staying at the forefront of the spa industry. In the spa menu, you’ll see the latest trends incorporated into treatments, such as a CBD massage that can help improve skin and calm chronic pain, and a MicroSilk Tub, whose small jets oxygenates water up to 70% more, helping to detoxify the body, soften and moisturize skin at the cellular level, and promote improved metabolism. Plus, True Bloom’s products are plant-based and cruelty-free, and many are vegan.

“You don’t need someone to give you a 5-star rating to deliver 5-star service,” Craig says. And for Craig part of that 5-star service includes always innovating, “I always tell the staff, this spa is going to be the birthplace of new ideas.”

Another thing that separates True Bloom from your traditional spa is acknowledging that healing and feeling your best works inside out as much as it does outside in. After specific treatments, you will be given a recipe card to take home, to help you continue to take care of yourself and help inspire a truly healthy lifestyle.

Craig says that the name True Bloom was chosen to invoke a very specific image and feeling, “We want an experience that is plant-powered, which is part of it, but more than that, we know that when people come here, we’ll help you bloom.”
