There are some cuisines we have no shortage of restaurants for, but others are harder to find. Brazilian food is definitely something we need more of! If you want to try it, that just means that you'll have to get creative in the kitchen and try making some of these dishes yourself. Trust me, they are worth the effort!

Brazilian Black Bean Stew

"Feijoada has as many versions as there are cooks, but in Brazil it almost always has black beans and always has a mixture of salted, smoked and fresh meats.

Some versions are a little spicy from the sausages, others totally mild. Some people’s feijoada are thick “eat-it-with-a-fork” versions, others, like this one, more like a traditional stew.

Either way it’s traditional to serve this stew with white rice, and maybe some sautéed collard greens."

Galinhada

"Variety is the key word of Brazilian cuisine. Indeed, Brazil food is characterized by influences from India, Portugal and Africa.

Smaller communities also contribute to the richness of Brazilian cuisine as is the case of the Japanese, the Italians, the Arabs, the Germans, the Spanish or East-Europeans.

This mix of cultures and backgrounds is reflected in the flavors and aromas of Brazilian gastronomy. In this vast territory, each region has developed its own specialties and each state offers cuisines that reflect the unique landscapes and climatic conditions."

Brazilian Cheese Puffs

"Easy Brazilian Cheese Puffs are light airy little balls that are perfect for a snack, or appetizer. Also great served as a side with any meal. Gluten free + Vegetarian."
