JC Pino combines passion and artistry in every painting

Born in culturally rich Venezuela, JC Pino embarked on a remarkable artistic journey influenced by his parents' diverse backgrounds and an unquenchable thirst for inspiration at a very young age. A turning point came when JC recreated Monet's "Houses of Parliament" as a gift for his brother, reigniting his love for painting. Over the following year, Pino honed his craft, drawing inspiration from Monet, Klimt, Degas, and Picasso, creating 190 canvases in his unique style. His art, characterized by ethereal women and goddess-like light, resonates globally, marking a flourishing career that emphasizes personal honesty over commercial realism. Regardless of the subject matter, Pino's paintings of women, angels, landscapes, and horses, illuminate the artist's visions and the subtleties of movement and motion through rich, vibrant color and texture. Especially poignant are Pino's paintings of matadors, flamenco dancers and bullfighting. His depictions capture the intricate dance between the matador and the bull, each brushstroke conveying the passion, bravery, and danger inherent in the ritual. "Inspiration comes from the ether, from the above," says Pino, "it comes as an image or may appear while watching nature or a work from another artist, never to copy, but to pick elements and recreate them."

JC Pino has been a legacy donor to Georgia Lawyers for the Arts for many years. “A friend needed their help," says Pino. “He asked me to help the cause. It has become a tradition for me to donate.”
