Let me tell you a little about me, Elyse. Growing up I always loved helping my friends and family with their hair and makeup. I even cut my own hair for a while! It took me until I was guided to the Paul Mitchell School Austin to realize I could do all of this as my profession. Once I did, I was on top of getting licensed and learning everything I could along the way. After graduation I apprenticed at a high-end salon in the Lakeway/Bee Cave area, working my way up to Master Hairstylist and Team Lead. I have continued classes in many areas and became Goldwell Master Colorist certified. After doing hair for over 8 years now, I know this industry is always changing and there’s always something to learn. I love learning more and making my clients happy with my new techniques.
Blue Lotus Hair Studio was opened in May 2023. Located within Phenix Salon Suites in Walden Park, North Austin/Cedar Park area. Offering many services including but not limited to Balayage, Highlights, Color, Brazilian Blowouts, Haircuts and more. What is my favorite thing to do? Definitely Balayage! There are so many different ways to get beautiful results, it just depends on the client’s desires.
