Camp David Retreat

Where Old Memories are Revived and New Memories are Created

The most precious gift in life is time. As our days are packed with events, sports, work, and monotony, we often forget to spend uninterrupted time with loved ones.

Camp David Retreat was created to accomplish just that. Owner and Dripping Springs resident David Jones has spent more than four decades working as a Texas commercial and business broker in commercial real estate and business appraising. When he stumbled upon a unique property David and his family knew it had the potential to be something amazing.

With his grown children as inspiration, he reflected back to the days when they were young and vacationed together. Eventually, each destination eventually brought on the cringeworthy phrase, “I’m bored.” The primary goal of Camp David Retreat was to eliminate that thought for every visitor, young and old.

The property is nestled in the hills off McGregor Ln., tucked between wedding venues. This makes it convenient and appealing to bridal parties and wedding guests alike. With a main lodge that sleeps 12 and a bunkhouse that sleeps 16. Both feature full-size kitchens, meaning there is no shortage of uses for this amazing property. For family reunions, retreats for all ages, bachelor and bachelorette parties, business meetings, and beyond, Camp David is a luxurious, yet cozy getaway destination.

Many additions were made to the property such as an expansive 1,600-foot deck with uninterrupted views of the hill country, four pickleball courts, nature trails, an obstacle course, a dog run, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a foosball table, a large swimming pool, and more.

“It’s an extreme pleasure to watch families gather here. I see kids breaking away to play pickleball or volleyball while the parents go on a stroll down the nature trails or just sit on the porch with a glass of wine and catch up on life,” said David. “Families are free of technology and interruptions and soak in quality time together. The vision for Camp David Retreat has truly come to life. Old memories revived, and new memories created.”
