Camp Southern Ground is a summer camp and veteran serving organization in Fayetteville, Georgia, founded by Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band. Camp Southern Ground creates programs and experiences that help children and veterans to identify their unique gifts and talents and that lift up those who are often forgotten or left behind. In particular, CSG understands the unique experience and challenges that affect the children of our service members and veterans.
Camp Southern Ground annually sponsors over 100 gold, silver, and white star children to attend summer camp programs completely free of charge. By providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive camp environment, CSG creates a refuge for our military children where they can explore, create new friendships, and remember what it means to just be a kid. With behavioral and mental health experts on staff, CSG provides more than just a summer camp experience—we meet our military family where they are and provide the support they need.
