Can-Do

At RISE and Throughout Roswell

Work4Eli is a for-profit e-waste disposal program that employs adults with disabilities. Founded in 2018 by Jonathan Kendrick, CEO of Digital Technology Partners, a Dental IT company in Conyers, Jonathan's son, Elijah (Eli) Kendrick was born with a heart defect, down syndrome, and was diagnosed with Autism when he was 8 years old. Eli has faced many challenges in his life, but his passion for technology has always shined through. With the lack of adult resources and his desire for Eli to be able to work with computers, Jonathan developed the idea of starting a new division of his company called Work4Eli.

The team collaborated with Roswell-based RISE coffee + tea to spotlight the meaningful work the organizations provide for the Atlanta community. "Collaborating with Work4Eli has been a wonderful experience. It's an honor to partner with another company that, like us, employs people with special needs. The staff at Work4Eli consistently goes above and beyond," says Nicole DeWard, executive director of RISE coffee & tea.

"We celebrated our 6th Work4Eli anniversary this summer and our team has grown so much since we first started - not just in size, but in skill set as well. I am so proud of all of our incredible employees who provide such a needed service to the Atlanta area," says Jonathan. As a for-profit organization, all of the revenue generated from our services goes directly back to our team members. To date, we have provided more than 22,000 working hours for our employees and we have no plans on slowing down.
