A Thankful Car Culture

Sharing The Passion With My Family

There is a specific scent, a nostalgia inducing blend of orange blossoms and high-octane racing fuel, that always brings me right back to my childhood.  My family would camp at the races, visit all varieties of car shows, compete in autocrosses, and turn wrenches on our own cars.  It was a great way to grow up and continues to shape my interests today.

Now that I have a family of my own, I am enthusiastically sharing my passion for car culture with them.  You can find us mingling with fellow enthusiasts at the monthly Gainesville Cars & Coffee event, meeting the Hesketh Racing crew to watch a Formula 1 race, or participating in a PCA (Porsche Club of America) event. Watching this passion for car culture and motorsport grow in my kids is profoundly rewarding, and for that I am thankful.
