To be honest, I was a little apprehensive about eyelash extensions in general. However, Deka Lash is not your typical lash studio. They're known for their TrueXpress lashes, which is a fresh naturally full look that can be achieved in half the time by using Deka Lash's own Multi-lash fans. Emphasis on natural! I was very adamant that I did not want to look like I just got eyelash extensions. Easier said than done, am I right?
But Deka Lash blew my expectations away. Before anything is said and done, you get to chat through all your options with your Lash Artist. I could not stress enough that I wanted it to look natural, just more full. She walked me through all the options, and I'm so thrilled with how it turned out.
Full disclosure for an impatient person: an hour is a long time to keep your eyes shut. BUT! With their TrueXpress, that's nearly half the time of other lash studios. Plus, fills only take around 30 minutes every 3 weeks, Because it was my first time getting eyelash extensions - she talked me through each step of the way. It was so relaxing, I may or may not have fallen asleep for a hot minute.
When I first looked in the mirror, I was blown away. My lashes were full, and it made my eyes really pop. Best part was it still looked as natural as I wanted. I think I was most nervous for what happens after. Fortunately, maintenance for your extensions is actually pretty simple. You can purchase a brush and Deka Lash products to wash. Easy-peasy. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received, and no one had a clue it was because they were eyelash extensions! People kept commenting on how refreshed I looked, what did I do different? That to me was what ultimately turned me into a true Deka Lash believer.
