One of my favorite holidays of the year is upon us … Galentine’s Day. As much as Valentine’s Day is painted as a romantic holiday for couples, most men participate out of love for us ladies, but it’s not one all of them get too excited about. I guarantee if you look around at the tables enjoying a celebration this time of year, the one having the most fun will inevitably be full of gal pals, decked out to the nines in pink and red, celebrating a Galentine’s Day.
For those of you hosting a Galentine’s Day this year, here are a few tips that have worked for me and my gal pals:
Rose All Day
It’s light, breezy, and is perfect for a gal-pal celebration.
Galentine’s Gifts
Encourage each person to bring something small for each person attending.
Create A Craft Station
Give guests a memory they can go home with; for example ceramic mugs you can paint as a group.
Flowers
Farmer’s markets have great flowers for a centerpiece, and you can give each attendee a flower as a parting gift at the end.
Remember, the pressure for perfection is real, but your girlfriends’ lives are just as busy as yours so give yourself grace. Galentine’s Day is for YOU!
