2016
The First Cover
Our first cover featured a "New Year New You" theme, as it was dedicated to living a healthy and wholesome life in Medina County. We featured a variety of different articles promoting a healthy mind, body and soul.
Wine, Dine and Diamonds
In Feb. 2016, we published an article dedicated to wining, dining and splurging on your loved one for Valentine's Day. The article featured wine and delicious offerings from the Galaxy Dining and Entertainment Center in Wadsworth as well as some beautiful bling from Sheiban Jewelers.
Unemployment at All-Time Low Since Recession
In Nov. 2016, the unemployment rate in the United States fell to 4.6%, the lowest since Barack Obama became president in 2009. Over two million jobs were created in 2016 and CNBC reported that 178,000 new jobs were created in November alone.

2017
Nintendo Switch Makes its Debut
In March 2017, the Nintendo Switch was debuted by Nintendo, becoming the first true hybrid console as it could be used as a handheld device or docked as a home console.
Summer at Shale Creek
The July 2017 issue featured a cover story about Shale Creek Golf Course, a links-style course located just outside of the Medina City limits. The two-page article was complemented by the eye-catching cover photo – featuring our publisher, Joe Violi, and his son, Luca Violi, on the Shale Creek Golf Course during a beautiful Ohio sunset.
The Taste of Medina County
In our Nov. 2017 issue, we had the opportunity to work with local businesses in the food and beverage industry. One particularly unique article we published this month was about Creative Living Coffee, a non-profit coffee company in Medina that empowers abled individuals with jobs in the coffee business. Creative Living Coffee's Café and Roastery is located at 4080 Creative Living Way, Medina, OH 44256.

+ Salon Evagalence hosts the third annual Cut-A-Thon to benefit the Keira Kilbane Foundation and their mission to advance treatment options and find a cure through innovative research for childhood cancers.
+ The inaugural Jimmy Violi Golf Outing was hosted at Shale Creek Golf Course and raised over $10,000 to benefit the National Parkinson's Foundation.
+ Brass Band of the Western Reserve celebrates 20 years of performing dynamic concerts.
2018
Reader's Choice Issue
We published our very first Reader's Choice issue in Feb. 2018, highlighting the best businesses in Medina County as voted on by our readers and members of the community. Some of this year's winners included Wolff Design Center as 'Best Home Builder/Remodeler,' The Interior Design Studio as 'Best Interior Design' and Timber Lodge as 'Best Fine Dining.'
Meet the Mayor
In our June 2018 'Men's' issue, we had the opportunity to publish a riveting Q&A with Medina's very own, Mayor Dennis Hanwell. In this article, we learned that Mayor Hanwell not only loves to garden but tends to over a dozen fruit trees! Oh, and his dream vacation? A cruise in the Caribbean!
Fun in the Sun
One of our all-time favorite articles printed in our July 2018 'Summer' issue. The article, "Your Guide to Summer," featured four unique summer-themed activities – covered bridge tours with Scarlett Transportation and Adventure Tours, outdoor activities at the Metro Parks, treetop experiences at the Murch Canopy Walk & Kalberer Emergent Tower and hot air balloon rides with Mid-Ohio Balloon Adventures.

2019
Dedicated to the Women of Medina County
In May 2019, the beautiful 40-page 'Women's' issue was released. It featured stories about Tru Barre, OBGYN Associates of Akron, Trillium Creek Dermatology & Surgery Center and Sand & Lace Gallery.
Popeye's Chicken Sandwich is Released
When the Popeye's chicken sandwich was released in Aug. 2019, people quite literally went a little crazy. In fact, less than a week after it was released, News 5 Cleveland reported that the sandwich had people across northeast Ohio "scrambling" to find it, as many stores in the greater Cleveland area had run out.
Timber Lodge Gets a New Owner
In our Oct. 2019 issue, we were delighted to introduce you to Timber Lodge's new owner, Lynn Zarcone. Lynn purchased Timber Lodge from long-time owner and friend of the magazine, Ron Levitt. Now, Lynn is still the owner of Timber Lodge and continues to uphold the restaurant's impeccable reputation.

+ The third annual Uncorked Medina Wine Festival was held at the Buffalo Creek Retreat in Seville, featuring Ohio wines, locally crafted beers, food trucks and live music.
+ We hosted a mixer event for marketing partners, friends and members of the community at one of Modern Home Concepts' beautiful model homes.
+ Frosted Cake Shoppe opens at 503 S. Court St, Medina, OH 44256.
+ Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital celebrates 75 years of providing medical care to the greater Medina County area.
2020
Medina County Strong
COVID-19 takes the world by storm. Medina County's first reported case of the virus is on March 15, but we remain #MedinaCountyStrong. Wearing a mask, staying six feet apart and utilizing takeout as well as curbside pickup options become essential functions to stay safe and support local businesses.
Nintendo's "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" is Released
At the end of March, Nintendo released "Animal Crossing: New Horizons," offering a much-needed escape for many during the statewide state-at-home-order. In fact, Time Magazine reported that the game brought in record profits for Nintendo.
Inaugural Senior Living Issue
In Sept. 2020, we had the honor of presenting you with Medina County Lifestyle's inaugural 'Senior Living' issue. In this issue, we featured long-time marketing partners, The Village of St. Edward, Western Reserve Masonic Community and Johnson & Associates Insurance Company, as well as articles about arthritis awareness and a fall clambake at Bunker Hill Golf Course and Event Center.
