For moms and business owners, the past year has been a challenge. One day we'll look back and appreciate what we've had to overcome and how much we've grown in the process. The truth is, it's very hard to be a mom and business owner. I’ve faced some of the darkest days of my career this past year and experienced equal lows as a mom. I’ve forgotten meals, relied on Netflix to babysit my kids, and served my family more frozen pizzas than I'd like to admit. I think it helps to let go of the belief that every other mom or business owner has it all figured out. We all feel isolated, stuck, and overwhelmed at times, and yet I know that if we work together, we will get through this.
As I look ahead, I recognize the many challenges I'll face in the future as a mother and business owner. I have three daughters who will all be teenagers in a few years. I'm honestly terrified of what comes next, but I don’t expect myself to have it all figured out. I know I'll make mistakes along the way and I'm ok with that.
When I take time to reflect, I recognize how moms have had to innovate, adapt, and react in ways that have probably saved our planet many times over. I wish we would pay more attention to this and place value on the contributions women have made throughout history to make the world a better place for all.
To all the moms and business owners out there: I see you, I celebrate you, and I'm cheering you on from afar.

Belle Pendant Necklace: All green stones in this collection were designed from stones that were unused and sitting in our warehouse for years. These stones were originally sourced by my Dad in the 90’s during his world travels and I’m so excited that we could use them to design new collections.
