The 2025 Career, Technology, Agricultural and Engineering (CTAE) Student of the Year Banquet, featuring all the top CTAE students from every high school in Fulton County Schools was Hosted by 11Alive Anchor Cheryl Preheim. This year the fully attended event was celebrated by students, parents and faculty members alike at The Georgia Aquarium.
Congratulations to all the winners and especially our local featured students: Georgia Hipp was named - CTAE Student of the Year for Centennial High School. Brannan Trotter was also named - CTAE Student of the Year for Roswell High School. Local Roswell resident and Fulton County School Superintendent, Mike Looney gave a moving speech of heartfelt congratulations to the student award winners.
Fulton County high schools offer career clusters (or work-based learning focus areas) in: agriculture, food, and natural resources; health science, arts/audio-visual technology, communications, IT, and business management administration, etc. Students are encouraged to pursue pathway completion, taking courses in the industry cluster. Upon completion students are eligible to take assessments in industry recognized credential or certifications.
