Why did you go into dentistry?
I went into dentistry because I wanted a career in healthcare. I was exposed early on as my father was a dental laboratory technician. My hand-eye coordination is pretty good, and I was great at video games growing up, so I decided to pursue dentistry.
So many people are afraid of dental work. How do you alleviate that?
I think that fear comes from not knowing. I tend to explain as much as possible to my patients so that they know exactly what to expect. And I try to be very gentle when treating patients. I try to give painless injections, and so far, it’s been working!

We play a variety of music in our office, usually songs that you can sing/hum along to.
