“We began hosting our Eden Prairie Summer Party after we returned to the office following the pandemic,” said Ruth Gardner, divisional human resources leader for C.H. Robinson. “Solving strategic problems on a daily basis requires a closely knit team – a fact that was underscored once we could no longer share the same workplace – so we decided to bring everyone together for one big shindig. It was such a great hit that we made it an annual tradition.
“Whether we’re transporting wind turbine blades from Asia or distributing fresh flowers across the country in time for Mother’s Day, our most valuable resource always stays the same. That’s our people. By bringing ourselves closer together over beer and giant Jenga, we’re forging the connections that have made Eden Prairie the world capital of third party logistics.”
