Charity Karaoke

Sing for a Cause

Conejo Valley is special because it’s filled with the spirit of giving. What better place for charities to team up together, for locals to Sing for a Cause they believe in, and for a community to jump in and support them.

On October 5th, 20 contestants will perform with a LIVE BAND at the Canyon Club, competing to earn audience votes, impress the judges and win prize money for their charities.

Several former Charity Karaoke Champions are back to defend their titles, including Firefighters Captain Brian McGrath and Captain Nick Cleary singing for Widows & Orphans Fund. Charity Karaoke first-timers Sidney Stull, singing for Manna Food Bank, and Melissa Miller, singing for Community Conscience, are looking to rock the competition with a first time win!

The show will be livestreamed on Facebook. Both the live audience and those viewing from home can vote for their favorite contestant.

Choosing the winners of this year’s Best Performance Contest are three celebrity judges, who are former contestants: Tim Hagel, Safe Passage Youth Executive Director; Patty Hamm, Goebel Adult Center Supervisor; and Crystal Evans, Conejo Awards owner.

An added feature this year is a chance to win a Guild Starfire Electric Guitar, valued at $1,700, donated by our Sponsors at Guild Guitars & Yamaha Guitar Group. The winner will be randomly chosen live on stage!
