Chef Brad's Coconut Yams
Ingredients
- 3 c mashed yams
- 1 c sugar
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/3 c butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
Topping
- 1 c coconut
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1/3 c flour
- 1/3 c melted butter
Begin by prepping your mashed yams. You can use canned, or cook your yams and let cool, then peel and mash.
Preheat oven to 375
Mix ingredients then put mixture into an oven-safe casserole dish.
In a small bowl, mix topping ingredients, then add to top of yam mixture in the casserole dish.
Bake for 35 minutes. Enjoy!
