Yogees 4 Kids is much more than group play

Taylor Gutow has been teaching yoga to kids since 2007 after finding yoga for herself. The proud mother of two amazing women, teaching yoga and mindfulness combines her love of working with children and her devotion to these life-changing practices.

After taking her first kids' yoga teacher training, she began teaching classes at a local Jewish Community Center and the ECEC at Temple Emanu-El in Dallas. After years of reaching out to the community, she knew that she needed help in order to affect more lives! Taylor began teaching others to share yoga with children. yogees yoga 4 kids was born! In 2015, yogees yoga 4 kids offered its first full 95-hour Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher training through its Registered Children’s Yoga School. 

As mindfulness became more popular as a tool for helping children, she began practicing herself. In 2018, Taylor completed her Mindfulness Teacher Certification with Dallas Yoga Center and kids mindfulness became a core component of the Yogees Yoga 4 Kids teacher training and program. In 2020, Yogees Yoga 4 Kids was approved to offer continuing education credits in yoga and mindfulness in the classroom through the Texas Education Agency.  This program is truly a unique offering for anyone looking to gain experience on a worthwhile educational and mindful activity to help educate the next generation of yogees.

Taylor completed her coursework to become a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500 hour level through Dallas Yoga Center in 2022. The training gave her more confidence and strength as a teacher and she is excited to continue her lifelong study of yoga.

She offers private sessions for children, families, and adult yoga beginners in both yoga and mindfulness.
