CLINK Wine Bar + Bites, Flower Mound’s fun and elegant wine bar, offers 16 wines on tap and a menu that pairs perfectly with every bite.
“Good wine is good wine, and we always start there,” says owner Laura Black. CLINK features global wines, many from unknown grape varieties and interesting producers. Laura says she especially enjoys featuring wine labels that are female and minority owned. “As a female in a very male-dominated business, helping others is a huge part of what I want to do,” she says.

Wine: Michele Chiarlo Cipressi Nizza Barbera
From: Piedmont region of Northern Italy
Flavor profile: Ripe red raspberries, blackberries and cherries with notes of violet and balsamic
Pairs well with: CLINK’s Albondigas (meatballs), Sicilian flatbread, cheese and charcuterie
Overall:
“This wine is full-bodied, intense and full of personality,” Laura says. “Lots of cherry and berry flavors on the nose and palate, along with dried herbs and a hint of balsamic. Truly a fantastic wine for pairing with all types of food, but will really shine with rich meat dishes, roasted vegetables, blue cheese and Ras el Hanout spiced dishes.”
