Country music superstar Kelsea Ballerini returns to host the CMT Music Awards for the fourth time –her first time as the solo host. She’ll again also be a performer at the entirely fan-voted awards show that will air live on CBS and be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. Nominations had not yet been announced at the time of printing, but expect a line-up stacked with a Country’s hottest stars and some surprises. Last year the show moved to Austin, marking our city’s first-ever major televised award show and featured genre-crossing performances including collaborations from Alanis Morissette + Ingrid Andress, Gwen Stefani + Carly Pearce, Darius Rucker + Black Crowes and an epic finale tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd from Billy Gibbons, Chuck Leavell, Cody Johnson, Slash and more.
