Collaborate for Sweet Success

Polo in the Pines is October 13 & 14

While a grass roots idea plants the seed, it is through the power of partnerships we discover our true potential.

Tina Fowler, Polo in the Pines founder, has joyfully embraced this idea, nurturing a passion project into a viable and successful fundraising legacy.

May 3, 2017 was a groundbreaking day as Polo in the Pines partnered with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  The Sharon McCollum Knight, Polo in the Pines Pediatric Cancer Research Fund was established to fund critical research at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorder’s Center of Children’s and Polo in the Pines leaders began the journey with Children’s for a deeper understanding of the needs of serving the mission to fund research.  “We had a goal to find tangible results in the shortest amount of time,” said Tina.

“Tobey J. MacDonald MD, Director of the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorder’s Center Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program, introduced us to personalized precision medicine for children with brain tumors through scientific collaboration.”
