COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

Local Organizations Help Bridge the Gap

Several local organizations strive to award graduating seniors with scholarships in honor of their achievements ranging from academic, athletic, volunteerism, and more, to ease the burden of rising post-secondary expenses.

Celina Education Foundation

CEF is driven by the belief that if all students could pursue their dreams, our community, country, and world will be a better place. Founded in 1992, CEF raises funds to support academic goals and achievement at every school in CISD.  CEF sets out to accomplish this in three big ways:  district initiatives, teacher grants and senior scholarships. Spring of 2023 saw nearly $200,000 awarded to Celina students to aid their undergraduate studies. Scholarships are awarded to Bobcats that have performed well in the class and in the Celina community. Applications open early Spring. Visit celinaeducationfoundation.org for info. To make a big impact with Celina students, email Marc Rylander at president@celinaeducationfoundation.org.
