“Colorado Springs deserved a place for comedy to shine,” says 3E’s owner, Eric Phillips.
Phillips is originally from Georgia, but decided to plant roots at the foot of Pikes Peak, calling Colorado Springs home for some time now. With a background in business and a history of promoting comedians, Phillips has always loved the crowd of a comedy show and saw a need to bring the experience to Colorado Springs. He also recognized a great opportunity to bring performers to Colorado Springs.
“I always wanted Colorado Springs to have a comedy club that is actually a club,” he explains, and that’s exactly what 3E’s is. As his vision for 3E’s has unfolded, it’s apparent that this lively entertainment venue is unlike anything the area has seen before.
When you walk into 3E’s, you’ll notice the unique layout of the club, particularly how there is a lounge separate from the showroom.
“I really wanted to stay true to a traditional comedy setting, where the showroom is reserved specifically for the show to highlight the comedian, while the lounge and bar provide a separate, more laid-back experience.”
And 3E’s has accomplished just that—the perfect “evening-out experience, complete with guaranteed laughs from top-tiered professionals, delicious food from Heckler’s Café and a full wine and beer menu. This Colorado Springs comedy club has you covered for the perfect night of fun.
Open 6 days a week, the laughs don’t stop after the shows because 3E’s also offers open mic nights on Wednesdays, “Off the Cuff” improv standup on Thursday nights, and one of the best happy hours in town Monday through Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
