Congratulations to Robert W. “Bob” Hagan 2025 Regents’ Hall of Fame Distinguished Alumni and Friends Award Winner

Roswell resident, Robert W. Hagan, 1977 graduate of Valdosta State University, was honored for a lifetime of leadership, philanthropy, and service with the Regents’ Hall of Fame Distinguished Alumni and Friends Award.

As president of Sterling Healthcare Management, Bob built and managed 32 nursing and assisted living facilities across the Southeast, employing more than 2,500 people. A champion for education, he has served VSU for nearly four decades, including leadership appointments on the VSU Foundation Board of Trustees and the Blazer Athletic Board. His transformational support of Blazer basketball is recognized through the naming of the Robert W. Hagan Court in the VSU Athletic Complex.

Bob’s dedication extends far beyond VSU. As a Rotary International leader, he has spearheaded service projects in Haiti, Costa Rica, India, and beyond, earning Rotary’s highest honor—the Service Above Self Award. His service to civic and charitable organizations has left a lasting legacy across Georgia and the world.

Celebrating Bob’s vision, generosity, and commitment to making a difference.

Valdosta State University and the VSU Foundation proudly honor Bob Hagan.
