In an industry with capitalism and marketing at the forefront, Michael and Stephanie Moore chose to put family first when opening their own business. The title of their company, M3 Networks, is a reminder of their family roots - representing them and their children’s names. The family’s commitment to one another has paralleled their work supporting small businesses in the community with IT and cybersecurity.
The values of faith, gratitude and service have remained core to the company since its inception in 2010. “We were both raised to listen, love and be grateful for what we have,” Michael says. “That’s important in life and in business. No matter what challenges you face, if you say your prayers and remain grateful, it can get you through tough times.”
Both Stephanie and Michael grew up learning the importance of customer service. Stephanie’s work at Nordstrom taught her the significance of treating customers with care and delivering excellent service. Michael, having seen his father own a small business throughout his childhood, learned that personalization and treating patrons with care was essential to any operation. It was the shared belief of putting customer service first that motivated the couple to start M3 Networks, having witnessed the lack of a personal touch in the IT world that small businesses often need.
“When you work in IT, clients often come to you frustrated,” Michael says. “That’s why it’s so important to maintain a grateful mindset, even when things aren’t going perfectly. You have to treat problems like an opportunity to serve, and that’s something Stephanie and I focus on every day.”
While the couple serves their clients during the weekdays, they give back to the community in other ways as well. Stephanie and Michael, both native to DFW, are active volunteers at their church. The family is also deeply involved in their daughter’s school, Liberty Christian in Argyle. When they find themselves with free time, which seems to be rare, the Moores cheer on their local sports teams - especially the Dallas Stars.
Their love of the community runs deep and can be seen through their commitment to their clients as well. Their hundreds of 5-star Google reviews are proof of their dedication to the customers and businesses.
As M3 continues to grow, the Moore’s continue to put their core values first: “putting God first, always being proactive and delivering excellent service,” Michael says. “Faith, family and community are the threads that hold [our] business together, making M3 Networks not just a company, but a reflection of who [we] are.”
