"Figure out what you love, and then go do that." This advice is what inspired Lee's Summit resident, Emily Smith, to become a "cookiepreneur" and start Cookie Van Dough. Her love for all thinks sweet, combined with artistic talent and precision, are what made her dream a reality. "I love what I do, and I think it really shows in each cookie masterpiece that I create," says Smith. Being completely self-taught, she went through many recipes and experimented with several techniques before finding her niche.
"As an artist, I will always be a work in progress, but I aim to hone my skills and continue to create cookie masterpieces that are unique, high-end and bring the wow factor."
