Cowboy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Healthier Than Regular Chocolate Chip Cookies *wink, wink

It is the time of year to roll up your sleeves and put on your apron. The cookie-making season has arrived! From cookie exchanges, to neighborhood gifts, to cookies for Santa, a solid chocolate chip cookie recipe is a staple for every home. Here is my family’s favorite recipe:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of soft butter

1/2 cup of white sugar

1 cup of brown sugar

2 eggs

1/2 tsp of baking soda

1/4 tsp of salt

1 tsp of vanilla

1 cup of oats

2 1/2 cups of flour

1 cup of chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Cream the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and eggs.

Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix them all together.

Make 2 Tbsp-sized cookie dough balls and place them on a baking sheet, then bake them for 11 minutes.

Enjoy!
