Nestled on nine beautiful acres in the Texas Hill Country, Frontyard Brewing has become a community cornerstone that appeals to those looking for an outing shared with friends. Under the leadership of Chad Worner, Frontyard has cultivated an environment that harks back to a time when community and personal interaction were at the forefront of daily life.
"When thinking back to my parents and grandparents’ generations I conjure up thoughts of families and communities that not only knew each other and helped each other, but also shared meals while their kids played together. The community was a natural extension of the family. Without internet, screens, social media, or cell phones; interactions were personal and
intentional," explained Worner. "While we don’t take a trip back in time at Frontyard, the desire to know and become friends with our patrons while watching them meet and become friends with new patrons certainly warms our heart and helps build a modern-day community."
Frontyard Brewing also extends its community spirit through collaborations with local nonprofits, like Foster Village, which supports foster children and families in Texas Hill Country. These partnerships underscore the brewery's commitment to giving back and enriching the community fabric, "With our natural heartbeat towards giving and connection, my prayer is that Frontyard can continue to grow and give back to more non-profits in the greater Austin area."
With summer fast approaching, Frontyard is gearing up to launch several new beers, including the seasonal Boat Beer and a Candy Bar Imperial Stout, enhancing an already diverse beer lineup. These new additions are expected to draw both regulars and new visitors, further solidifying Frontyard Brewing’s place as a central figure in Austin’s social and cultural scene.
The desire to know and become friends with our patrons while watching them meet and become friends with new patrons certainly warms our heart and helps build a modern-day community.
