Two sisters share a bond deeply rooted in faith, resilience and the belief that love unites all people. They also co-founded and together operate the bespoke jewelry business, Kindred Spirits Designs, LLC.
Paige Nichols navigates life with courage while managing multiple autoimmune conditions, and Ally Nichols, her younger sister with Down syndrome, faces unique challenges. But it’s in these challenges they say their family’s faith has shone the brightest, reminding of God’s unending strength, joy and purpose.
"Working in our small jewelry business is more than a job; it's living out the purpose God has placed on our hearts," explains Paige. "We get to intersect with so many amazing lives. And getting to build it with my little sister is one of His sweetest blessings, keeping us close while we chase the dream He gave us."
Ally confirms she, too, adores working in the jewelry business. "I love meeting new people. I love asking them what kind of jewelry they like. I ask what their favorite beads, colors and earrings are, and if they like butterflies or hearts."
Those types of client interactions dovetail with the mission of Kindred Spirits Designs to be a touchstone of God's love and a symbol of unity through beautiful jewelry that clients love to wear.
Ally says she relishes making people happy when they purchase something they love among their jewelry creations.
"Our journey actually began with a desire to create something beautiful and meaningful, as a way to reflect our love for God, our joy in one another and our hope for the world. Jewelry became our canvas, a way to tell stories and share a message of encouragement," explains Paige. "Each of our jewelry pieces is handcrafted to be a beacon of hope."
To make a difference for others through ripple effects, the sisters devote 10% of every purchase toward supporting organizations that uplift vulnerable communities for children, individuals with disabilities and those facing global crises.
