Paleterías Tropicana

In the summer of 2004, Paleterías Tropicana began with a single concept: serving homemade, authentic Mexican ice cream to a growing Hispanic market. We decided to open our first paletería, a small but pleasant and friendly place where people could enjoy a flavorful and 100% natural ice cream, Michoacan style.

Paleterías Tropicana didn't stop there! In addition to the authentic fruit-laden Mexican ice cream and paletas freshly made on site, Paleterías Tropicana now offers and extensive menu of fruit cocktails, smoothies, churros, and traditional Mexican lunch and dinner food items.

Creative Culture

Who doesn't love a milkshake? Now imagine a milkshake with mind-blowing toppings and creative flavors. At the Creative Culture milkshake bar, we have reimagined the traditional milkshake and created edible works of art. Each milkshake is hand-crafted and served in a mason jar that you can take home with you. From fire-roasted smores to our unicorn milkshake we have a flavor for everyone.

A variety of flavors make up our everyday menu as well as special flavors for holidays, seasons, and special events. At Creative Culture we like to "Shake" it up.

Blue Koi

This was the one divergent from ice cream that Kansas City chose—cheesecake wontons from Blue Koi!

Opened in 2007, Blue Koi, Leawood continues the tradition set out by Blue Koi, Midtown. With the large bar, innovative menus, and wonderful patio, Blue Koi, Leawood is a perfect spot for a night on the town. A Blue Koi trademark is their many-flavored Bubble Tea, a unique blend of ice or smoothie teas and tapioca pearls which the restaurant first introduced to Kansas City. A fine selection of loose-leaf Chinese teas and a full bar are also offered to complement your meal.
