For 40 years, North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC) has been a beacon of hope for struggling families in Roswell and North Fulton by helping prevent hunger and homelessness. We remove barriers to financial stability and employability by providing food, clothing, emergency financial assistance, and education services.
With last year’s 17 percent increase in rent as well as increases in food and fuel costs, 2023 was especially challenging. People are turning to services like the food pantry and clothing assistance in record numbers to save for bills and mortgage payments.
More than 300 families a day visit our food pantry for free groceries, more than 800 families a month visit our thrift shop for free clothing, and over 100 families a month receive emergency financial assistance to stay housed.
We continue to raise awareness to increase donations of food, clothing and furniture. We are also renovating our education center to add three additional classrooms.
We rely on the support of caring individuals, and North Fulton business, civic, and faith communities. Now more than ever, you can make a difference in the lives of your neighbors in need:
- Donate gently used clothing and household items to our thrift shop. Sales in the thrift shop are responsible for 25 percent of the annual revenue we need to provide services.
- Host a food drive. We are always in need of popular staples like peanut butter, tomato sauce, and cereal.
- Host an online fundraiser. Organize your office, faith community, or civic organization – or create a fundraiser to celebrate your birthday.
