Their projects, spread across Dripping Springs, Fischer, Horseshoe Bay, and Canyon Lake, are defined by a commitment to low-density, conservation-focused development. Offering residential ranchettes ranging from 12 to 20 acres, these tracts promise sweeping views and natural features like canyons and streams, embodying the Clinards' ethos of being "defenders of the land."
With a logo featuring a lone oak tree on standing atop the highest peak symbolizes the Clinards' dedication to preserving the natural beauty and biodiversity of the region. Each tract benefits from a wildlife tax exemption, a result of the Clinards' partnerships with wildlife management firms to enhance local bird habitats and broader ecological health.
To further regenerate the land, the Clinards also support each landowner in rainwater collection by providing them a $25,000 credit at closing to go toward infrastructure for this effort. “If everyone is collecting rainwater, then we are all doing our part to help replenish the aquifer,” Mike says.
Mike Clinard explains their approach: "While we could financially benefit from higher-density developments, we choose to prioritize the land's natural beauty and ecological health over maximum profitability." Kim Clinard adds, "We aim to honor all aspects of this land, from the flora and fauna to the natural landscapes that provide solace and connection to nature."
Their hope is that the ranchettes will become places where generations can connect with nature and each other. Mike notes, "These smaller tracts allow people to experience a ranch-like environment without the high cost of larger properties."
The Clinards are not just selling land; they are inviting others to join in their mission of conservation and stewardship in a cherished Texas landscape.
