Disaster Restoration Services

Remediation Company Helps Homeowners and Business Managers Recover From Damage 'Like It Never Even Happened'

Few things disrupt lives more than damage to homes or offices. Whether damage is from water, fire, smoke, storm, mold, biohazards or natural disasters, the SERVPRO of West Chester team focuses on getting customers restored and operating as quickly as possible, assures franchise owner Kevin Jones.

Kevin even offers a complimentary service to business customers through a phone application called ERP (Emergency Ready Profile), which provides immediate action plans for getting into buildings post-disasters; identifies who among customers' staffs can authorize mitigation work with SERVPRO; and shows facility details, such as shut-off valve locations, priority areas and contact information, for quick reference during emergencies.

"We've found emergency plans often are kept in buildings and are still there once damage suddenly occurs. It can be challenging to physically get to those plans when business owners are under the duress and restrictions of disasters," says Kevin.

Kevin and his wife, Deena, have been in the restoration business for 15 years. SERVPRO is a full-service restoration/construction company for mitigation and remediation, including expert insurance guidance. Kevin prides himself on integrity and excellent customer service, being “hands-on” in the field. Deena says she enjoys providing a personal touch to their services, through honest and open communication, "ensuring 100% satisfaction."

Danielle Mortimer, SERVPRO sales/marketing manager, says their most requested residential service is remedying water damage, however mold and mildew removal also is a huge concern of customers.

"Although we cannot entirely eliminate the anxiety and worry during times of disasters, we can help minimize customers' stress and make the damage like it never even happened," she says.

This SERVPRO team specializes in cleaning up residential and commercial property damage of all sizes. "Our certified technicians walk customers through our process, from beginning to end, before using the latest equipment and the best techniques," says Danielle.

Specifically, she says they're Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification trained in handling microbial remediation, structural drying, fire/smoke damage, odor control, construction industry practices, lead-based paint renovation, and water damage restoration.

"Our biggest joy is getting others ready for whatever happens," proclaims Danielle.

SERVPRO remains active in the community by participating in the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce and The Rotary Club of West Chester. They also ran a drive to gather new and gently used winter coats to donate to various nonprofit programs in Chester and Delaware counties. Danielle says they often donate building supplies and home goods, too. Additionally, they conducted free sanitation services during the COVID-19 pandemic at shelters, food banks, emergency vehicles and police stations. They also provided PPE and N95 masks when there was a shortage, and delivered hand sanitizer to community representatives and essential businesses still open.
