The winter time is upon us, and while there are many things to do in the valley, there are so many great getaways up in Northern Arizona. Whether to check out the snow, explore the trails, or see wildlife, there are plenty of spots to get away while feeling thankful to be with family, friends, or even a little R&R alone time. 

Here’s a snapshot of some fantastic options for your next getaway up north this holiday season! 

Rim Country

Cabins at Creekside

If you are looking to hit up the areas near the Mogollon Rim, be sure to check out all the cool stuff that the Cabins at Creekside have to offer. Located in Christopher Creek just outside of Payson, Creekside Cabins and Creekside Tavern are located just over 20 miles east of Payson and 10 miles West of Woods Canyon Lake. Newly renovated Creekside Cabins, Tavern, and Tours are taking reservations, looking to share the rustic, cozy setting with visitors. The log cabins are themed throughout the property, including Bear’s Dean, Enchanted Forest, Bird’s Nest, and more. Each cabin sleeps up to 6 people and includes a full bathroom, flat screen TV, Keurig coffee maker, and small refrigerator. There are also larger cabins that have full kitchens, and all of them are pet-friendly. The Creekside Tavern is a great spot to grab a bite to eat on the property. Flagstaff
